Beauty

Mostly, beauty is surrounded by 'ruggedness', 'thorns', 'hardship', 'remoteness' and sometimes in 'dreams'.

KILIMANJARO - 2014

We all know facts about Kilimanjaro, what we don't know is its hidden beauty and mysteries.

One has to focus the Mind Frames to concentrate and somehow overcome tiredness, daily unusual routine to appreciate it. It is hard to find such beauty as it submerges in to the bareness of mountain's ruggedness.

Focus and you will be rewarded. This is also true of our daily life.

THE LAST POST

Friends, this is my last post on SAN warriors blog.

But how can our love succeed
A miracle is what we need
And so I appeal to you
To keep me suspended in time with you
Don't let this moment die
I get a feeling when I'm with you
None of the rules apply
But I know for certain
Goodbye is a crime
So love if you need me
Suspend me in time

ROBOTS

So, you thought 24 hours are all you have got in any given day? Think again.

Deduce what you really get after taking away the time you slept (7 hours), at the office (8 hours), your routine activities (3 hours), commuting (1 hour) and all the social, personal, and other existential activities which I can't think of now. My guess is if you are lucky you hardly ever get more than an hour a day to question yourself; who are you exactly? Unless you're a robot. And in all probability, we never question ourselves about that, so...are we robots?

KNOWLEDGE

BABY

A new calf is usually the center of attention for herd members. Adults and most of the other young will gather around the newborn, touching and caressing it with their trunks. The baby is born nearly blind and at first relies almost completely on its trunk to discover the world around it.

KUDOS TO KUDU

  • Kudu's cryptic coloring and markings protect kudus by camouflaging them. If alarmed they usually stand still and are very difficult to spot.

  • Kudus normally restrict their movements to a small home range, but the scarcity of food in dry season may prompt them to roam more widely.

SUSTENANCE

If a tree can draw its sustenance from the rock in most inhospitable conditions then why do humans need perfect conditions for their inspiration?

Our celebrated gains are nothing but our acquired losses and without attaching too many conditions if we can start celebrating our losses we may acquire some real gains.

When I stopped looking, I saw there are signs of struggle everywhere. Humans are not alone in their struggle for the survival. Nature has been fighting against conditions imposed upon it since beginning of the time.

These photos were taken on 9th June 2012 on my weekly walks to Kgale Hill.

STRENGTH

We all have strength enough to endure the misfortunes of others.
